the packaging was normal BLI plastic box with foam inserts and the plastic casing, as usual up it held up well and was packaged tightly

the locomotive has crisp paint with few problems, the Plymouth wording on the front was clear but the bell holder had an ugly white spot and the front vent had an angle (easy fix). Another problem was one of the traction tires (on middle wheels) was already fairly worn, I will use it with that till it is almost broke but this was an annoyance, thankfully they come with them.

Running :

The engine didn't run to well with factory settings but after changing start voltage it ran at a steady crawl. DC had problems though with it changing direction randomly when going in reverse.

Pulling Power:

For the small size of this engine it had quite some power, it was able to haul around 15 cars (more than enough for the small switcher) at all speeds

Overall:

This model if definitely worth the costs of it all and would make a great addition to any layout (this is my opinion for real not just because I got it free)

This was my first review, so let me know what you think. Should I keep it the same add more what? I am here to please

A bit smaller than my SP Daylight!  When I bought the Daylight I used a US based dealer who tested all locos before sending them overseas, reasoning that would save on a whole lot of postage and insurance on returns.  Unfortunately I don't think that particular dealer is still in business, but other dealers should do the same if asked.
