Good news! We have more-or-less solved the damp issue in the house and also having a pay rise has allowed more spending money for myself!

I've decided to start a project for 2016 (some of you probably thinking 'oh god, not again!') but this time I have spent quite a bit of time researching and planning has resulted in a (hopefully) great idea for a small spaced layout. The planning stage has been rigorous, similar to when I was planning Chalk Lane.

I have thought long and hard about if I should do this or not because of past projects that have been scrapped very early on because of poor planning and rushing things. I feel like if I take it slow and plan it right then it can lead to a nice result like Chalk Lane.

The plan is for a small SE London based 2 platform terminus with a small stabling siding. My plan is to give it the feel of SE London as I remembered it growing up in the 1990's. I am not going into mass detail just yet, mostly because it is still in the planning but watch this space

At the time of writing, I am drawing a very detailed plan on a piece of paper. I guess this shows how much enthusiasm I have for it.
