Scottish Branchline Permanent Model Exhibition to open in Spring of 2016

blog-0429119001450540581.jpegA new permanent model railway exhibition will open to the public during the Spring of 2016 in North Ballachulish, near Fort William in Scotland. The exhibition displays a 28 feet by 8 feet OO gauge model of stations and towns on the former Ballachulish Branchline which ran from Connel to Ballachulish from 1903 until 1966. The layout is set in the mid fifties and stations on the layout include Oban, Connell, Creagan, Ballachulish Ferry and Ballachulish. The exhibition will be sited in the grounds of the Loch Leven Hotel next to the Ballachulish Bridge. Further posts to follow reporting on progress towards opening.
