Clovelly Road - Hitting the Buffers

I have now done all the track laying on the scenic part of the layout. I can now decide where the boundary between the scenic and the fiddle yard should be.

I can also enlarge the bridge box.This is the cutout in the top surface cut out to allow scenery below the track level.

Post 1952 trains were hauled by what became class 04 in the TOPS classification. Before that trains were hauled by motley collection of 0-6-0 steam engines, including terrier's.

 

Passenger trains used 6 wheeled coaches, see earlier posts and freight was handled using 4 wheeled short wheelbase wooden bodied wagons.

 

There was a short period where passenger trains were formed of single car, pressed steel railcar units.
