Correct tail lights only, headcode panel lights will not be bright they where only 40w bulbs! So really only the headlight would appear bright in daylight.

Many thanks for that, I have returned said loco to Hornby twice and it has been returned on both occasions exactly as I sent it to them with side lights showing white and not red tail lights as it should be. The last time they had the loco for 6 months! Not happy at all. Thanks again for the reply, much appreciated.
