I thought it was time to share my latest exhibition layout. Headstone viaduct (sometimes referred to as Monsal Dale Viaduct) on the mainline from Derby to Manchester. Being built fullsize to 4mm scale EM gauge track and set in August 1938.

It is wired for DCC control, points and signals operated by servos and set by switches - not that there are many.

Phase 2 will see Monsal Dale station and the rest of the line to Cressbrook tunnel, all told about a mile of track, so a little shortening will be needed.
