Southeast Steam Railway - 1 year on!

Hi Guys,

 

Now that we are coming to the end of 2009, I thought what I have done in the past year. It feels like I have done nothing, but you'll see form the photos, that there has been quite a lot done!,

 

So the first couple of weeks of January, the layout looked like this:

Now in the last couple of weeks in December, it looks like this:

It's amazing what you can do in a year!

 

Over the year we have added three more locos to the fleet:

 

  • Bachmann Class 20 No. D1834 in BR Green
  • Bachmann 'Jinty' 0-6-0T No. 47354 in BR Unlined Black
  • Bachmann 4-CEP in BR Green

Unfortunatly, the Southeast Steam Railway will not be completed by New Years day (it would of then takena year to complete), but I hope to be annouce re-commencement of services early next year, so watch this space!

You have done a good job for a year simon! Im still fiddling with mine and improving from what my layout was! Your layout looks great and its coming along nicely! Least your not rushing thats when mistakes happen!

Thanks Matt, I hope to rebuild the bridge for it soon, that will make it a roundy-roundy layout again!

This made me chuckle as I had written a blog along similar lines and posted a few mins before you did. I'm glad its not just me that had the same thought about not having achieved anything.
