Rusting and weathering effects to my locos..

Ive made start on few "heavy" weathered and rusty subsector class 37s.

starting with 37428 petroleum subsector..

using mixs of humbrol enamels matt browns and blacks,

 three tone rust effects from Ak interactive colours...

using both airbrush and dry brush methord here....

Just finished this commission weathering job for frend of mine,

he wanted it grubby like classic 56 on MGR traffic...

Ive used both airbrush and light dusting over "dry brush" effects...

Been weathering up another Scottish 37/4

using both airbrush and then filling in with light bush mixs of rust effects...

using few colours from Vallejo acrylics...
