Matt, from memory the Model Power gasometer is of the traditional type, not the later waterless type. They were usually painted either pale grey or pale green but often had a sheen of oily rust on them.

The ones here on the works are grey. Very dirty, but grey.

Thanks for the advice, i am going to paint it in a pale green simmular to the one in the image.
