Hythe Parkway - Lights, Camera, Action!
Hi Guys,
Well, the photoshoot is now over, it all went very well and the pictures look great. As mentioned earlier, I also took a few photos, before and and after the photographer
Here's my effects:
Southern's Hertiage 4-CEP No. 7105 stands at Platform 2 with a service to London Victoria while Southeastern 'Networker' No. 466023 waits at Platform one with a service to Ashford:
Southern's Hertiage 4-CEP stands 'on the blocks' at Hythe Parkway, after arriving with a service from London Victoria, standing in for a failed 'Electrostar':
Old and New at Hythe Parkway:
Station Pilot, BR Blue Class 08 No. 08762, shunts a Steel wagon, containing new boiler tubes, into the workshop:
BR Battle of Britain 4-6-2 No. 34062 '17 Squadron' awaits to take the next Southeast Steam Railway service to Bigporth, while A4 4-6-2 No. 4468 'Mallard' waits to go into the workshop for fitment of a new drivers side lamp iron:
A Class 158, waiting to be repainted in South West Trains livery, stands at Platform after arriving with a service from Weymouth
Class 66 No. 66135, on hire to Freightliner, waits to leave from Hythe Parkway, having run round, with a intermodel train to Southampton Maritime:
Southern's Hertiage 4-CEP No. 7105 and the Southeast Steam Railway's 2-BIL stand 'on the blocks' at Hythe Parkway:
A Class 166, waiting to be painted in to First Great Western livery, stands next to a Class 170, also waiting to be repainted, but into South West Trains livery:
