I am trying to do this in 2mm, n gauge. I am at a loss as how to replicate the blue light and make it operable in DCC. Do you have any suggestions?

I had 3 of 3mm either blue or purple LEDs in a row in the holes you can see in the well print. I then have some translucent plastic covering them to diffuse it. You should be able to do it with SMD LEDs. I fitted a decoder and operate it off that.
