As for the scratchbuilt structure - go for it. I'm glad i've taken the jump to produce buildings I never thought I would be able to. Tip for working in thick plastic sheets such as Will's - create a mitred edge on the corners of any walls. I was thinking about a small girder framed lean-to on the scratchbuilt warehouse with a corrugated iron roof for your layout? (But remember: it's your layout)
