-In primer!

This next prototype is still rather bodged together, more than anything to check that all the bits align nicely

(some of the windows and bits and pieces need nudging sideways to line up right)

I have quickly filled in some of the gaps with car bodywork filler, and sprayed a bit of primer over it, which imporves the look of raw MDF and laser scorch marks!

Proportion wise, it seems about right, the over scale wheelbase will all but vanish with the side skirts around the chassis!

I'm getting to enjoy this... wonder what to make next? :D

i was tempted to get one of those chassis and do a railcar on it, like the ones used in east Anglia and lancashire in the 50's and 60's.... it is possible and those chassis are good value, so maybe an idea for you?

Good plan.. I have the necessary stuff to have a go at that, some Etched Pixels sides and the remains of an old Minitrix Waggon and Maschinen (probably spelt wrong ;) ) railbus set! Watch this space...

Hi Will

Looking promising! You don't realise how small these things are until you see it next to that Ivatt!
