Those tricky angles on the 25 roof front !

I couldn't put them off any longer, those tricky front corners of the roof !! the day started with last nights filler...

Nice work John - its really great to see this evolving...and looking more and more 25 - assume it will be painted in the right colour...BR Blue ;)

More rapid progress, this must be one of the quickest scratchbuilds ever. Looks like it was easier than you thought to sort the cab roof. Are you going to use the same mesh for the large side grill? And are you going for bufferbeam detail? Can you still access the cab interior or is it now closed in?

Thanks for taking the time to comment gents, the cab roof went better than I thought and looks quite reasonable.

 

As for the cab interior, I have cut the floor out of both cabs to allow me to do glazing and also I could make up the cab detail as a separate unit and slide it up from underneath. It seemed like a better option than trying to make the roof removable !

 

As for colour, no takers for the two tone green then ?

John - why not prime it in BR blue?...you never know, it may just look too good that it's top coats remain the same!...
