A nearly finished tower car 2 took to the rails at the Model show in the Tram Shed at Heaton Park, this was quite an effort, as I only started building it on Tuesday evening. It's shown here only part glazed, missing transfers and minus the inner tower, but hopefully you can see the overall effect.

It ran like a bag of spanners at first, gradually running in and performing better, it does need more weight so both cabs will be stuffed with lead.

Inner tower will hopefully be moveable, but not motorized!

Other interesting stuff, well, 'Grime St' will be appearing in one of the monthly magazines, it's due to be photograhed early next month, better get cracking on the words, I'm not the greatest typist in the world!

Next outing is Wakefield, need to sort out some niggles before then, yesterday is the last time it goes out without any prep as for the first half hour it came close to ending the day in a skip. My fault entirely.....you live and learn.

Hull, Hell and Halifax, as the saying goes, well according to Mrs Red Devil, Hell's my likely destination, I live pretty close to Halifax and the Hull bit? We're of to Hull in 2011...........................In the extended version, so a deadline has now been set, usual story of finger removal coming up.
