Dirty modern stuff!

I've been detailing and weathering a couple of Re6/6's locos, together with a couple of his 'Sharks' for Matford. Not quite my usual period, but it's been fun, and I also get to play with them at Scaleforum!

Very nicely weathered. Looking forward to seeing them in the flesh plastic at Scaleforum. That's nice ballasting and signal/control rods too.

Very nice B) B) The 08 and Shark are particularly good. Sadly, I can't make it to Scaleforum to see them in the flesh.

Excellent work there by CK.

Modern stuff (post privatisation) doesn't float my boat but those models look so realistic.

I notice that most of the side lamp brackets on the sharks have disappeared. Presumably following prototype practice ?

The only finishing touch I'd add is the vertical handrails on the shunter's step need to be a little whiter - HASAW !!!!!

See this pic of a couple of stored examples in Bescot yard ;

Thanks for the kind comments, Phil and the tip re the white handrails, which I can rectify tonight. The missing lampirons may be missing because,..er...they're missing on the models! I've given the plough vans back to Re6/6 now, so perhaps we can reinstate them in due course!
