This is where I've got to with my proposed track plan for Rodents' Vale - prepared in Xtracad:

Not fully formed as yet, but gives the general idea. The main features are a folded figure of eight twin track main line, a substantial terminus station on the upper level (designed around accepting an HST 2+5 set), a six or seven road traverser fiddle yard below and 'another' yard, yet to be defined. I'm thinking maybe an industry like a paper mill, due to the variety of traffic that it could generate, but I'm also strangely drawn to the idea of an MOD installation.

Some of what I hope will be interesting details are a nicely complicated, but hopefully logical, station throat, two different mainline junctions and a freight passing loop.
