For quite some time I have not only been meaning to update the blog and my profiles, but also bemoaning the lack of layout space in the new house, to be fair I thought we were getting a nice big convertible loft but due to the design of the house this has proved, for the time being anyways, not to be too straightforwardm due to the design of the house.

I was halfway tempted by the most recent N gauge releases and the advances in 2mm finescale of producing 'relatively' easy to build track, the 2 stimuli came at pretty much the right time.

A big clearout has followed, there are still many 'bits & bats' type stuff to clear.

A bit of indecision (no change there then!) has followed regarding what to do with the 2mm stuff, I've currently got a blue 24, 108 and am eagerly awaiting the release of the Dapol 26, 108 excepted that ought to have suggested North of the Border and probably highlands, but got taken in by the 108, and hey isn't the highland branchline thing at risk of being overdone anyway?
