I wonder if its possible to lower the 27 on its chassis a tad? Looks a bit high between the Dapol 26 and the Farish Mk I's? What chassis does the 27 use?...I wonder whether the 26 could be a doner chassis too as the bogie/underframe detail is finer on the latest Dapol.

Hello Pete,

the Class 27 uses a GraFar Class 33 chassis. And when I received the body of the 27 I lowered it about 2mm, but I thin more is not possible, because between the chassis and the body sits the DCC chip.

Thanks...good to know...wonder how sticking the 27 body on the 26 chassis would be?...now that we know how to get the body off the 26 thanks to DD!

Looks a nice model...certainly does look more like a 27 thean the earlier minitrix N version...
