Hello all,

Lindleymoor yard is the name of my new model railway. The project started around november last year and since then the layout hasn't progressed since until now. Lindleymoor yard is set as modern image era but I am wanting to set the era at around 1999 to 2003, when class 66s where new and class 56s where still seen in service. The layout is set on a refuelling point, although not based on a real location many ideas have come from the Tees Yard feulling point which I found photos of accidentely on the internet. Although the layout is set as a EWS stabling yard there will be different variation between the locos, so not all locos will be the maroon and gold colour livery.

The layout is OO Gauge using Peco code 75 track, and is operated by DCC, I also plan to make full use of both lights and sound. The layout measures 4ft x 1ft 2" and the fiddle yard measures 2ft 2" x 2ft 2". The baseboards where constructed from 6mm think mdf board. The layout is very much still underconstruction, so hopefully more updates will be posted as soon as more is done. Below are a few photos of the current state of the layout so far.

The first photo is of the overall layout which also gives you the track plan:

The next two photos are of the detail added to the left of the layout and of the fuelling point:

The right hand side of the layout is still very much work in progress with a road bridge, thats still been planned, to hide the entrance/exits for the fiddle yard and all around the bridge will be detailed with grasses and some graffiti on the bridges supports.

Thanks for reading, all the best,

George
