I have a quetion, your building in a loft by the looks of it, what height are you baseboards from the floor?

Sorry for the delay... don't really maintain my blog any more... you can see updated photos on the rmweb model Gallery as well as my new topic "Glasgow George Square".

 

In answer to your question, the baseboards are built on an existing shelf, which is only a couple of feet off the floor. The loft is small, and is actually in the ceiling space of a bedroom if that makes sense. The ladder to the loft is in the wardrobe and one can look down into the bedroom from the loft. It's very convenient, and when we moved in, there were the tell-tale signs of set track curves at the corner of the shelf. This is not the first layout here!!
