It flew, that's what happened! For various reasons, I have been unable to do much work on Mawgan Porth since September. I have been diverted into using my modelling time to build two control panels for the club O-16.5 layout "Theobald's yard", which will be at the Orpington and District MR Exhibition on 9th & 10th January. The group decided to build a circular extension to enable more and longer trains to operate. A blog on this construction and preparation is imminent.

The control panels took about a fortnight to build as they are mirror images of each other. Just the connecting leads to finish now, but then another distraction in the shape of a Smallbrook models loco kit which I want to complete for the exhibition! Then I'll have a month before a trip to New Zealand in February/March, after which I need to bite the bullet and get back to Morgan Porth
