About this blog

This blog started after I finally saw the light and stopped messing around in O gauge and got the nerve up to make a attempt to make a half decent micro layout in OO. It also coincided with my ordering a SECR lined livery D class from Rails of Sheffield.

Edwin Beard Budding would be most pleased if he could sell me his invention.

Edwin Beard Budding was among other things, the inventor of the lawnmower. Oh and the adjustable spanner. However the first of those two would have been of greater use to me tonight as tonight the vast majority of the Woodland Scenics grass was scrapped of the board, creating a smaller than predicted mess. Most of it has been saved and will be reused.    I am not entirely sure how useful a lawnmower in such small a scale would be at removing said grass,  but it was something to think a
