Oh I do like to be beside the seaside...............

Hot on the heels of the Pilcher CAD comes the latest one, I can't see me painting one purple and Ivory and numbering in Leeds 603, and I very much doubt it would clear the corners on Grime Street being a massive beast of a tram (50ftx8ft), but it should appeal to those who like to model a certain costal tramway in the county palatine, very much work in progress. but most varients are/will be covered (different fronts/roof windows/beadings etc).

Interior is to be altered but might well do something for 4mm, perhaps even make clip in mounts for Halling bogies with a 'clip' for a centre motor driving through either longer ujs or flexible drives, dunno yet, much to sort.

Anyway pics,

Trolley gantry will probably be an etch as will some other details. Hopefully Pilcher prints here next week. I'm also at Glossop show this weekend 15/16 Sept if anyone wants to say hello, I could well have some interesting prints with me (Leeds 600 in 7mm etc...)

Recent;y received my "Spiv", superb body, thanks. Now I have to find the bits to complete it - if you make any more parts available I am interested.

A couple of points on the interior CAD shown above?

1 - the seats were all reversible as is normal tramway practice. However it was normal for them to all face the front when in public service. Also, wasn't there a B.T plaque fitted in the centre window of the internal cab doors?

2 - Cab details - is that a representation of the later converted cars, using old railcoach controllers? Or is the big cabinet on the left of the driver also there in an original Vambac car? I'm at work at the moment so don't have any pictures to check with.

Such a beautiful tramcar.

The floor/base unit was very much a 'mess around' at first. The seats will be altered at some stage to all point one way and also probably do one to point outwards for those who run end to end....

First I just want to have a 'play' with it to sort out if it can be done to take a clip in Halling bogie and motor etc....WIP!

Cab details, can't remember of the top of my head, will have to check and come back to you on that...too many things on the go!

Thanks for your kind comments on the print, appreciated.

In have on my shelf at home a thin & recent publication on the Coronations -think it is published by one of the Blackpool tram groups? Certainly available in the North Pier shop. I'm certain that includes cab interior pictures.
