The horror of what we do

I thought I'd share a picture of my workspace on Saturday morning before the exhibition - I like working on the kitchen table, but I'm beginning to see why Mrs. V. might not be so keen.

There is yet more mess out of shot.

To be fair, after working until 2am two nights in a row to finish the layout and rolling stock, I did come home from day one of Railex and spend my evening tidying up. Perhaps that's why I'm not sleeping on the sofa?

I can see several flat areas upon which you appear not to have placed modelling related stuff. Poor show, try harder next time ;)

I agree with the above comment.

Plus, you have excess chairs in the area -

just think how much more modelling-related materials you could squeeze in! ;)

Our table use to like that;then i mentioned to my wife about getting a home office. My wife now has her table back and i now have a 24x12 home office for my railway!

Unfortunately my home office is where I work from - and it has a fair amount of additional non-work stuff in it already. In the longer term my plan is to replace some tall cabinets with kitchen ones (drawers below, cupboards above, gap in between) to give me a space to keep the railway. 24x12 sounds like a dream come true!

Looks like my kitchen table frequently does, although in my own defence this is because my wife covers my desk in junk- she has her own to do that with, but mine is more convenient rolleyes.gif
