Given the period implied by the monogram, I think the roof below the rainstrip should be chocolate? (but don't do it before we have confirmation from other sources!). 

Considering how dirty the roof will be I'm not sure if you'd tell

looking at all the preserved GWR coaches, can't find one of them with the brown below the rainstrip, so I'll go with all  white  dirty grey

Contemporary prototype photos of third class coaches with the monograms appear to show a mix of with and without the brown, with no clear pattern to distinguish them.
