Shown here is the bracing, including the 44mm X 44mm that goes down the length of the board on both sides. This has proved the most obstructive.

You can also just see the join in the board which is the main reason for all the structure underneath. Although the total size is 8 X 4, this is made four 4 X 2 sheets. I cannot get the 8 X 4 in the car.

Again just to emphasise the point.

As this whole exercise is about learning, next layout will be constructed with light weight in mind. Using 6mm ply with 44X12mm bracing. It is also more likely to be a permanent affair rather than the original plans for this.

Very annoyed about the missing pixel that has only appeared since the camera went in for repairs. as its only one pixel, it is within tolerances. This does not stop it being a right PITA.

I'm unsure as to whether this should be in the layouts section?
