The canal is starting to get hairy. This is from Woodland Scenics field grass cut into clumps then pushed into dollops of PVA. Once it has dried I'll deal with some of the overlong strands and dust the canal. The hedge along the lane is scouring pad cut into strips and coated with Woodland Scenics coarse turf. (Thanks to everyone who pm'ed me with suggestions. You're all wonderful people :icon_thumbsup2:)

That looks brilliant Ian, nicely executed. All you need now is a cameo in that space under the bridge! I'm impressed by the hedge too. There's some nice colouring on there, the lane looks good from what I can see of it in the background. I wonder if you are going to include rope marks on the canal bridge to indicate use by horse drawn barges in the past?

It doesn't involve those Noch naughty people does it? ;)

The greenery is looking extremely effective, it captures the look of unkempt grassland very nicely indeed B)
