I have finally enclosed an image of the Dave Geen Midland coach sides. This may not have worked properly. I apologise but I'm afraid I'm a complete and utter burke at computer stuff. I will get better! I'll have to if I want to put modelling shots on this epistle!!!

Has anybody come across the Kernow newsletter this month?

They are slashing the prices of two models which would be good for motor bogies, namely the Hornby Railroad Warship and the Hornby 2BIL.

For under £40 the Warship gives you a 14mm wheel motor bogie for Southern MUs. Yes, Yes, I know it is not absolutely perfect but it is a well made reliable, in my experience, motor bogie. The 2Bil is selling for £59 odd. I have bought one to have a crack at sticking an MTK 4COR on it.

Before the usual howls of derision about MTK start, I have various MTK MUs running on my trainset and I am fully aware of the kit's shortcomings!!!

I am, also, very lucky in having my great friend Mike who has built these things in the past and has taught me a great deal.

All my MTKs date from way back when they were the only game in town if you wanted MUs. Though, in the case of the 4COR I would have been better off getting the BSL kit!!!

I will post how I get on later.
