Sometimes although not everything is on top form a photograph
shows exactly the ambience you're looking for in a layout scene.

Self indulgent I know and the straggling fencing wire behind my
coach detracts, but I really like this. No doubt when those raw
fence posts are painted it'll look better but .......

Nothing wrong with a little self-indulgence from time-to-time :)

A nicely observed scenario: I'm noting the road sign in particular, which is exquisitely modelled, but also the height gauge (terminology?) over the road bridge, and fences / gates, all quite subliminal.

Well done that man :)

I agree with Southernboy's sentiments.  A convincing scenario; nice small enclosure with sheep nicely modelled, as are the bank edges, with a very realistic representation of grass, stones and crumbling soil. Coach and van on bend in road also add a sense of movement to the scene.  Good stuff!

I thank you gentlemen,

I've always loved the countryside and I suppose the 'open road' having been a club and racing cyclist,

a rally driver and for many years a technical sales engineer. It looks like something from my 1.5 million

miles of driving has stuck in my memory.
