As per the last post we spent the weekend at the Halifax MRC show, well looked after and a really enjoyable weekend, it was also nice to be home with layout all down and packed in less than an hour!

 

The self promotion bit, well I was a bit shocked to be presented with the best layout trophy, previous winners including Barrowfleet and Liverpool Lime Street, so to be even considered pretty much made my day.....chuffed to bits as we say up here!

Yep, I don't consider my efforts anything other than 'average' I just enjoy building 'stuff', never expected anything like this ever, I always try to entertain when exhibiting, from the layout to talking to 'the punters', not in it for cups and stuff but was really surprised by this....

Congratulations. One thing is building stuff, another is making it all come together. From the pictures, that's what you (also) manage to do extremely well. Very inspirational! I hope to see the layout "live" some day.
