The only buildings on the layout are the loco shed and signal box here are 3 photos of the loco shed. These are the only photos I could findblogentry-20690-0-29677700-1485450661_thumb.jpgblogentry-20690-0-03658900-1485450627_thumb.jpgblogentry-20690-0-29677700-1485450661_thumb.jpg.
The resident loco up to 1943 was an ex Caley 0-4-0 but when this was away for repair etc an ex L&Y Pug was used.

I dont have a model of either of the 2 resident locos, but after the formaytion of BR the responsiblility for shunting the yard passed to Wellington, and the usual shunter was a Pannier tank (of which I have modelled 3 of Wellingtons locos.
The next picture is of the model of the loco shed, built for me by Peter Leyland as modeling buildings is not my thing!

Peter does do rather nice, evocative buildings, doesn't he?

I presume the ex-LMS Pug wouldn't be too hard to replicate.

Forget to mention that if you look at the photo of the Pug you can see the 4A shedplate which was Shrewsbury, Trench being an outstation of Shrewsbury.

Dave, yes an L&Y pug would be easy to replicate but I would prefer the ex Caley version, but no decent kit available. For my more modern era (circa 1962) I am building a North British 0-4-0 diesel (D29xx) as a few were scattered over the LM region.

Peters buildings are excellent, I also have a signal box from his well.

Looks like the track might be down near the shed. Did you finally manage to feed all those droppers through the holes in the board or was some other drastic action needed?

David, If you ever fancy a move to 7mm scale Slaters do a very nice Caley Pug kit The shed area would make a nice 'cameo' layout in O gauge (which I may try one day) but the whole of Trench Sidings might be a stretch !

David, regrettably not the photo of the model shed and Pannier tank was with the track just placed on the baseboard. The laying of the complex point work has been stalled as I can't feed the droppers through as their is to many. Howard's suggestion is that I solder some flexible wire to the bottom of the droppers and feed them through that way. That's next weeks job!
