I have finally got round to fitting a new chassis to a very old Mainline Jubilee - I had renamed it Sturdee many moons ago.



I have used a comet chassis and valve gear/pistons kit, along with Markits wheels and a Mashima 1624 coupled to a Comet gearbox.

As i was fitting the second guide to the piston on one side.. ping... lost it! I do have another kit with the etch and white metal parts so I will dig that our and finish this.

I will check it runs then fit brakes, final pickups etc and a quick spray of Halfords black and ..another Jubilee for Chapel en le frith!
