Have you installed leds for signal lamps as well? It looks as though they are lit in the video

Yep. I used a warm white LED chip. The resistor in the base is 1k so that illumination is 5V. I think I'll add about 2k externally and run them at 12 V. The subtle thing was to drill out the rear of the lamp and add a 0,5 mmm fiber optic so that the blinders work as well. I wish I knew how to get a photo, but they look good in the dark. At least the 1 k protects the LED in the meantime. 

That's very clever, and gives a nice smooth movement to the signal - not like the 'snap' one sometimes sees.
