As you may know, we have had a flood of bookings which have come faster than we have ever known.  Already, 59 modellers have booked and all the Abbey accommodation sold out within a week.

In order to cope with the increased demand, we have arranged additional accommodation  at  Chartridge Lodge which is only 4.5 miles, 10 minutes away from Missenden Abbey. Details are on the website at www.missendenrailwaymodellers.org.uk

On the course front, Karl Crowther's Buildings course is full as is Pete Brownlow's DCC Course.  There are still places for the other electrical courses -Layout Wiring, Electronics for the Bewildered, Electronic Kit Construction, Train Detection and Layout Control. Each one of these will also cover DCC, so anyone disappointed that they cannot do Pete's course will still be able to do DCC.

There are also places on our Weathering and kit building courses. To cope with the increased demand for locomotive and rolling stock kit building we have additional new 4mm tutor for kit building - Steve Duckworth.

We are aiming to open booking for our March 2018 Spring Railway Modellers' Weekend at Scaleforum at Stoke Mandeville on September 23rd and 24th 2017.
