Comet A20 - almost ready for paint

Its been a long time since I last worked on the Comet A20 kit, mostly because I didnt have the required drill to get on with adding the roof vents. Having finally dug one out in order to finish off the Cargowaggon vans, I carried on and fitted the vents to the First.

It now just needs to be fitted with the door hinges, along with a deep clean to remove the tarnishing to the etch, then it will be ready for painting. Given this will be the third completed coach its about time that some received a coat of chocolate and cream. Of course the only issue now is the tempreture making the chances of me doing any spraying even less likley...
Thinking about it, I also have 4 centenarys which just need to be fitted with new rain strips before being ready for paint, making the backlog even greater (though with these I am thinking of wainting until I have added etches to the resturant pair, and added Comet sides to the composite and RH Brake for consistancy.

Conversely for me the temperature has fallen to the point where airbrushing is feasible. I was out at 8 this morning in low 20s temps with the etch primer. Coach looks great!
