Accurascale O Gauge HUO. Step 9 - Interior Afterthought.

I mentioned in the beginning that this blog would record good and bad. Here is an example of the latter.

You have probably noticed an absence of interior shots for this hopper. Firstly, it didn't turn out as I wanted it and, secondly, the photographs are completely out of focus.

You can verify that now:

Looks in focus to me - and a pretty good interior!

The interior doesn't look bad at all Mick, I've found photo's of interiors hard to come by, maybe it would be a shade darker as per the coal it carried, how would you rectify it, maybe some smoke pigment?

Steve.

Give yourself a damned good thrashing and then tell us how you made such a mess so that we can all try to replicate it. :jester:

Go back to step 4, young man. What followed that was a good dousing with MIG Productions Dark Mud, positioned initially on the seams and then brushed outwards in all directions from there.

Thrashing is reserved for weekends.
