Just out of interest , what did you do to the 108?

I reset the CVs so that the head/tail lamps are correctly lit, fixed a destination board lamp, gave the roof a quick once over with dark ink/water and then added some track dirt along the lower edges of the bodywork. A bit of dirt around the buffer beams then a bit of "grease" on the buffer heads.

 

Client wanted it to b fairly lightly weathered - and the light in my photo "booth" isn't good a showing up very light weathering.

And the client likes the weathering. He took this lot away and brought me some more to sort out.

Not all weathering neds to be really filthy. Subtle colouring brings out the immense amount of detail on newer RTR items.
