Are there 14mm wheels that would fir the Hornby axles, I wonder?

Thanks,   I don't know.  I find it easier to build chassis than convert them sometimes.  I will be having slightly bigger slide bars too.

 

00 and P4 chassis to make, already started them for the V1 then after that will do the V2 ones.   Model in this blog is a V2.
