Hopefully not heretical to mention on RMweb, but Sherton Abbas is featured in the August edition of Railway Modeller Magazine.

And very fine it looks.

Good to see Lady Jayne breaking cover, as well. I take it the Sherton Temporary Industrial Facility Fiddle Yard will be in use for Telford?

Thanks Al:)  Yes as long as we’ve got the extra space at the show then the STIFFY will be fully employed!:D

I’ve fitted the hornblocks to number 2112, so we should have another loco to play with.

Congratulations, Dave. The photos look excellent, but then they would. This is the kind of acticle that makes people dream. Rest assured that it will create some converts to Edwardian GWR, and some new modellers too! I'll have to get myself a copy.

Is it in the National Geographic too?  :)

Thanks Mikkel:)  Craig Tilley is an excellent photographer and really did the layout justice with his pictures.

I hope you enjoy the read when you get yourself a copy.

A classic RM spread - but when will they learn not to print the best photo over the spine? I hope you've been given some large-sized prints to frame.

And good to see Great Western wagon red in the mainstream press!

Presumably when they learn to put one of the best layouts they are ever likely to feature into an issue other than August, and to make it Railway of the Month, although year, decade or century might be acceptable alternatives...

I did add my comments onto the Rail-ex post.  I would have made it Railway of the Month but  the Modeller always has a garden railway as RoM in August.

It would be nice to have a bit more of the layout on youtube.

Craig emailed me the complete set of pictures that he took:)  I'm using one as my pc screen saver, but will definitely get some prints done.

I must admit I have no idea how to do it myself, but as I don't have much worth videoing at the moment I haven't the incentive. Unlike your good self. The running I saw on Sherton Abbas was superb when you have the scenic quality, excellent stock and good running  it is worth putting up on Youtube.
