 I guess that although we aren't allowed to go out during the bank holiday, at least we're still allowed to read!

MRJ 278 turned up and has completed its quarantine.  An excellent article about an excellent model railway.  I noticed reference to the colour of point rodding - Red, Torbay, light - there's a surprise! I mentioned it to management who said that it was probably something to do with Torbay palms which were very popular in  the Victorian period, particularly on the south coast (she looked it up and tells me it's actually Cordyline Australis - Red Star). I would guess you'd already got there as the colour picture including the point rodding on page 85 of MRJ shows a pretty good match for the cordyline - we have one by our front gate!
