Okay, so were was I on the Shackleton build..

 

Oh yes, I was busy getting parts ready for paint - including masks..

Replacing the plastic aerials under the wings with something sturdier..

Wings back from primer..

Main undercarriage bays spray Insignia White & masked.

Wings sprayed and temporarily installed..

The Shack reassembled again..

A gloss clear coat added - and the fun begins..

This does look very good. You must be confident in the fit to have the wings and tailparts still separate at this stage, presumably you aren't anticipating needing filler or paint?
