Shack Attack - Another Big Build: Part 4 - Revenge of the Shack, Chapter 5

As hinted at in part 4, the decals were going so well and then it came to the wings and silvering appeared everywhere! 

 

After several days work and a lot of X-20A Thinners, I got rid of most of it.

The outcome is stunning, love the shot of the three together.

 

I'd be fascinated to know how you managed to remove the silvering, presumably with the decals still in place.

Coated the decals with X-20A and gently pierce the decals with something sharp to allow it to get it underneath in the affected area and let it dry (mop off the excess if you use too much) - importantly don't touch the decals until it's dry and repeat it if necessary.
