A Busy Weekend

This weekend has been taken up with some weathering in unusual circumstances. Because the Missenden Abbey Railway Modellers Autumn weekend could not take place at the Abbey, an online event was arranged to provide some small compensation. This event included a little bit of weathering:

Sorry I couldn't join you 'live' but as you know I could not have attended Missenden anyway this year.

I have started to watch the recording and I see that all the 'usual suspects' were present!
I shall watch the whole thing as a suitable refresher - despite attending your excellent course twice already, I know that there is always room to learn more and to improve.

Thanks for sharing this and I hope that we can all get back to face to face sessions at Missenden in the not too distant future.

Hi Mick, I dialled in to your weathering session and found it very instructive. I've often considered attending one of the Missenden events but never quite got round to it. A great set of videos on the website, I may now pluck up the courage to use the airbrush I've had for many years. Well done that man.

The Zoom session was great Mick. Good to see your work in action, you do make it look so easy. I liked the way you mixed the paint in the cup, I've read a lot of stuff that doesn't recommend that, but when you only need a small amount of paint that seems to make sense.  I've always been put off by mixing a load of paint for a small weathering job.

Congratulations on the whole weekend, it was very informative.
