Sand Dryer Ridge Tiles

I have now managed to add the ridge tiles to the sand dryer and in consequence have repainted parts of the roof.

The roof on the buildings have been painted using air opaque Badger air brush paints which I apply using a brush. I tend to use a palate of their greys [nos 7.07 & 7.06] and black.

It started to rain whilst taking the last two photos.... spot (sorry!) the rain drops on the roof!

The sand dryer building & chimney is now finished apart from final weathering which I will do once the whole shed complex is complete.

Now back to the Office........

Up early this morning Robin! What's the reason for the cut back on one side of the roof, does it abut something else? You could have had snow on the roof if you were over here today! Great stuff.

Hi John,

That side of the building abuts the shed wall and will not be permanently fixed as it sits across a baseboard joint. We had some snow yesterday afternoon but I managed to get the photos done beforehand.

I now have some photos of the shed & workshop which I will email to you .

Did it have no gutters or downpipes?

I am unable to see eithe gutters or downpipes on any of the shed buildings. This is not to say there were none; you would expect the valley between the sand dryer and shed to have some form of drainage from the roof as would the valley between the two hipped roofs on the office/mess/sores building. Perhaps there was some form of internal downpipe... any ideas anyone?
