Well hello everyone! :) It's good to be back with everyone on the new site, and may i just say now how great it is! still taking my time to get used to it though!

Right, Dearnford Junction, well for those of you who remember it from the old forum, its currently undergoing a massive regeneration project. I have allready extended the bay platform in the station and i have now completed the move of the level crossing and the small bus depot where the signal box used to be. So here are some pics of how the layout curently looks...

Work started on hill at the corner for the church to sit on

Sadly all this work means that i can't have a good running session  But it's all for the greater good i suppose!

Any comments?

Danny, great to see RMWeb's 'Youth Team' showing us how it's done. Not sure if you're the first of the teenage gang to launch their blog but I for one am delighted to see Dearnford on RMWeb MkIV. You chaps' enthusiasm and knack for making progress gives us lot (your dad's generation!) a kick up the butt to get on with stuff. Great! :D

Hi Danny,

Good progress on the layout. Its nice to find a place that I find familiar on the new site.

I'll hopefully find some time soon to re-start my 6X4 layout story (I was one of the 15% who had to re-register).

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,

James

looking good. Not being able to have a running session is a pain!

At least at the end you can have one HUGE running session!

Yeah! Thanks for the really kind comments guys! :) Didn't realise Dearnford had so many people interested in it! I must come clean though, it looks alot better in the pictures for some reason!

Hi Danny

Great improvements youve done on Dearnford Junction, glad to see it still exists as this provided some of the inspiration for Arpley Street :D
