Blog entry no.76 - Has it really been that many already?

Some more up-to-date photos of Calshot

I won't add any descriptions to the photos as it's all pretty self-explanatory I hope. In the photos you will see a new platform taking shape. However, I am yet to find a drill chuck small enough to hold some drill bits less than 1mm in diameter!

Hope you enjoy this set of photos. 76 blog entries - who'd have thought it?!

P.s. I have just received an email for an invite to an exhibition in the New Forest area - stay tuned...

And finally a more unusual shot of Calshot in the rain. I apologise for the poor quality of the 'rain'!

Oh, and for those intrigued or mystified by my status update earlier it's the lyrics from a Mark Knopfler song of course!

Cheers,

Jam

Hi Jam -

With regard to sub-mm drill bits - the 'Dremel' comes with a series of collets which go down to (about) 0.25mm....

Like the rain - 'coming down in stair-rods; was the old expression!

Thanks Ian.

From what I can see my Dremel did not come with a chuck small enough. Although I will double check with Dad later on.

I expect then I can get some spares or add-on packs?

I will admit I'm not sure how I came by mine - might have been part of the kit. Came in a grey 'carry case' full of attachments.. Might be worth checking with 'Expo' and the otehr stockists of all things tool-like!
