Yes, "that" 24. It's the only one that would have still been operational during my time period. That's my excuse anyway ;)

Modifications

- Water tanks removed from the underframe.

- Body side steps filled to boiler fill point.

- Gangway door filled, to represent welded up version.

- Headcode discs thinned down.

- Extra buffer beam details added, MW air pipes and electric MW socket rebuilt.

- TPM screw couplings.

Final painting and weathering is still required, but progress has been slow of late. The purple windows are due to a film of Maskol to keep the final coat of matt varnish off.

Very nice work Bryn...and more importantly, good to see you back here.

I rather like the purple 'John Lennon shades' look of the windows myself :P

Are you going to modify the roof? I keep looking at mine thinking I should really fix that.

I am probably the worlds worst expert on these diesel things but that looks pretty impressive to me Bryn. It certianly has plenty of character.

iak - Yes, it's the new Farish model, quite a nice little runner. Even if it does have the same visual issues as it's big brother.

Pete, Missy - Thanks for the compliments!

Paul - I was going to fix the roof using the Trevor Hale method, but I'm only doing this loco as a quick fix to get something up and running. Once he 25 is out I'll take a more detailed look, as this will be the main class for CBG.

MC - "THAT" 25 might see the light of day again, depending what the new Farish 25 is like. I have a feeling the two might combine sometime in the future,

I can't find the link now. In short, he modified the original 4mm cab by enlarging the windows and changing the roof profile.

Has anyone got the link to his thread? I'm struggling to find it.

TPM do etched headcode disks if you want to ditch the Farish plastic ones.
