When I was in Birmingham in Oct '09 on a course I 'found' the canal system (lovely but now a little 'twee' as it's raison d'etre have been flattened or prettified. I also 'discovered' the 'back to backs' and was hoping to work them into a model of the LNWR wharfaging building - but it wouldn't fit! If I'm up there again I'll certainly visit the mill - just hope it won't be during the winter 'closed' period. All that & Tolkien too.... Regs Ian Link to comment
