Click on the video below (sorry, I have no idea how to embed with wysiwyg - how about a raw html edit option?)

With Combwich all ready for RAILEX, a last chance to knock up a quick video of Ex-Midland Railway 0-6-0 4F No. 44417 arriving at Combwich with the afternoon goods from Evercreech Junction. August 1961.

After arrival, the engine runs around its train, then shunts the short rake of old wooden wagons into the goods yard. And for the smart asses out there, yup, I know that the vacuum pipe on the the loco is missing;-)

This short was simply shot using the video capture facility on my point and shoot Canon G9

I'll look forward to seeing Combwich again this weekend Chris. I've edited the post to embed the video.

To embed a youtube clip click on the 'Media' icon (at the far right of the line of symbols) in yer Wysiwig and paste the youtube url in between the tags. It should then show.

Thanks Andy - I was getting rather frustated. I wish the likes of Youhootube and others would give out the BB code as well as html. I'll be off shortly, and I hope the layout will run as well as it has been at home. Luckily I have helpers who are good with soldering irons! I keep forgetting that Combwich is 30 this year, the freshing Grasmastered and Silfored scenics tend to hid that aspect. It's like a British built classic car, looks good, but is high maint!

Great little film Chris, is it by the soon to be legendary Ivan Locksmith by any chance?

Hope you are having a good show and the layout is behaving it's self.
